Roy Parker is proudly hosting Siena Root live at Royal Park STHLM studios.
Siena Root started giving concerts in the Stockholm area already in the late 90's and in 2003 the debut album was recorded. This was a time when many threw their old vinyl collections and put their turntables in the attic. From the very beginning, Siena Root strived to refine the analogue music creation. With 7 albums in the bag, the band is today considered to be pioneers in contemporary root rock.
The band has shared the stage with legends like Deep Purple and Ten Year After to more contemporary bands within the stage like Blues Pills, All Them Witches and Kadavar. In March 220, Siena Root released her 8th album, "The Secret of Our Time". Siena Root has mostly been run as an experimental music collective, hence the many different sets of the group.
The touring base with guitar, vocals, organ, bass and drums for the band's new release "The Secret of Our Time" 2020, is Sam Riffer, Love H Forsberg, Johan Borgström and Zubaida Solid. Guest musicians may join the line-up with instruments such as sitar, flute and backing vocals.
The concerts are uncompromising in every way, from bringing all the heavy vintage equipment that most bands lack the passion to bring on stage, to the fact that no two concerts are alike, as the band constantly pushes the musical boundaries and renews itself.
Sweden’s root rock pioneers Siena Root were bound for a long European tour in March. With that cancelled, we are now instead presenting a streamed live session from Royal Park in the band's hometown of Stockholm
